Further to Press Release number 241531 issued on Friday, the 27th of September 2024, the Accountant General notifies that the price for each Stock offered for subscription by members of the public has been established as follows:
(i) 2.80% Malta Government Stock 2030 (III) at €100.00 with a YTM of 2.7996%, which corresponds to an annualised rate of 2.8192%, and
(ii) 3.25% Malta Government Stock 2034 (IV) at €100.00 with a YTM of 3.2497%, which corresponds to an annualised rate of 3.2761%.

The Accountant General is hereby announcing the issue of two hundred and seventy million Euro (€270,000,000) Malta Government Stock in any one or any combination of the following two stocks:-
The sum of money to be raised may be increased further up by a maximum of Euro 130,000,000 in the event of oversubscription.
Members of the public who are interested to invest may apply for an amount up to a maximum of four hundred ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred Euro (€499,900) per person in any one or in each of the two stocks on offer. Application forms can be made by one person or jointly with other persons. The applications for members of the public open from Monday the 7th of October 2024 at 8.30 a.m. and close at 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday the 9th of October 2024, or earlier at the discretion of the Accountant General.
Applications from wholesale investors in the form of sealed bids (auction) open on Friday the 11th of October 2024 at 8.30 a.m. and close at 12.00 p.m. (noon) (CET) of the same day, or earlier at the discretion of the Accountant General.
The Accountant General shall be announcing the price for each stock offered for subscription by members of the public on Thursday the 3rd of October 2024. These prices shall be published through a Press Release by the Department of Information (DOI).
The allotment results of each stock to applicants whose applications are in the form of sealed bids (auction) will be determined and announced two hours after the closing time of the auction.
Application forms may be obtained from and lodged at all members of the Malta Stock Exchange and other authorised investment service providers. Application forms may also be downloaded from the Treasury department’s website with effect from Friday 4th of October 2024.
