Government Stock Issue - July 2022 – Results
and allocation announced
The
Treasury announces the results and allocation of the stocks issued. More

Further to Press Release No. 775 issued on Friday
1st July 2022, the Accountant General notifies that the price for each Stock
offered for subscription by members of the public has been established as
follows:
(i) 2.60%
Malta Government Stock 2028 (V) at €102.50 with a YTM of
2.142%, which corresponds to an annualised rate of 2.154%;
(ii) 2.90%
Malta Government Stock 2032 (VI) at €101.75 with
a YTM of 2.703%, which corresponds to an annualised rate of 2.722%; and
(iii) 3.40%
Malta Government Stock 2042 (I) at €102.25 with a YTM of
3.247%, which corresponds to an annualised rate of 3.273%.

The Accountant
General announces the issue of €150 million Malta Government Stocks
(MGS) subject to an over-allotment option of an additional sum up to a maximum
of €100 million.
The
issuance period for retail and institutional investors shall be as indicated
below:
a) Retail
Investors
Applications
for retail investors open at 8.30 a.m. on Monday, 11th July 2022
and close at 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 13th July 2022 or
earlier at the discretion of the Accountant General.
The
fixed price of each stock offered under the non-competitive element of the
issuance (Retail Investors) will be published by a Press Release on Thursday,
7th July 2022. The application forms will be available as
from Friday, 8th July 2022.
b) Wholesale
Investors (Auction)
Applications
(bids) for participation in the competitive auction open at 8.30 a.m.
on Friday, 15th July 2022 and close on the same day at noon
(CET).
